18th Century

I love the fashion from the 18th century, particularly from the 1780s. I have made various 18th c styles, including a court gown, a robe a l'anglais with en fourreau pleats, a chemise a la reine, a pet en l'air, a riding habit, a robe a la turque, and a man's suit, all without the use of standard patterns. I have also built multiple sets of undergarments for the period, including fully boned and partially boned stays, pocket hoops, a grand pannier, many petticoats, bum pad, pockets, and chemise. I created all the hats pictured on the page, as well as the cloak and white fur muff, and have styled multiple 18th c wigs.
