Edwardian
The first outfit is inspired by an app. 1903 afternoon gown by Jacques Doucet. It is made of chiffon and lace over a layer of muslin, with cotton velveteen for the sash, cuffs, and bow. All lace on the blouse is handstitched. The semi-sheer blouse and skirt are worn over a turquoise petticoat and corset. The hat is a large straw hat, decorated with taffeta, tulle and ostrich feathers.
The second is a reproduction of the yellow deck dress from Titanic, made of silk taffeta, rayon, and cotton, with machine embroidery on the kimono-sleeve bodice.
